MMA fabrics are a specialized class of high-performance stretch textiles engineered specifically for the extreme physical demands of mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and grappling. They must withstand intense friction, pulling, and twisting that would destroy standard sportswear in a single session.
We produce two primary MMA fabric categories: nylon-spandex (80/20, 85/15) — the gold standard for rash guards due to nylon's superior abrasion resistance and slick surface — and polyester-spandex (88/12) — a more affordable option for training gear and fight shorts.
Every MMA fabric batch undergoes tear strength testing (ASTM D2261), abrasion resistance (Martindale cycle count), pilling grade, and compression recovery after sustained stretching before shipping.

Branding Combat Gear
MMA gear has unique decoration constraints — the methods must survive mat friction and stretching.
Screen Printing
The standard for MMA branding. Uses stretch-formulated plastisol or water-based inks cured at 150–160°C that flex with the fabric without cracking. Highly durable and survives mat friction. Works on both nylon and poly bases. Up to 8 colors.
Heat Transfer Labels
Perfect for inside-neck branding, size labels, and care instruction labels on rash guards and shorts. Applied at 130–150°C — safely below spandex degradation point. Uses stretch-compatible films that move with the fabric during grappling.
Low-Temp Sublimation
Only works on our poly-spandex MMA fabrics (88/12), not nylon-spandex. Uses modified 195°C/15-second press cycle. Colors are slightly muted compared to 100% polyester but acceptable for training gear. Not recommended for competition-grade nylon fabrics.

Base Fiber
Nylon for maximum durability and slickness (competition), polyester for sublimation capability and lower cost (training).
Spandex Percentage
12–15% for rash guards (compression + mobility), 8–10% for fight shorts (less stretch, more structure).
GSM Target
180–210 GSM for rash guards, 250+ GSM for fight shorts and spats. Heavier = more durable but warmer.
Knit Density
Tighter knit for competition (tear resistance), slightly looser for training (better breathability and softer hand).
Ventilation Panels
Integrated mesh panels under arms, down spine, or on sides using matching spandex-mesh for airflow without grip points.
Finish Treatment
Anti-microbial (essential for hygiene), anti-odor, wicking enhancement, or UV protection for outdoor training.
