Cotton Sportswear Fabric
The gold standard for comfort-first athletic wear. Our combed and ring-spun cotton delivers unmatched softness, breathability, and natural feel for OEM and private label brands.
What Is Cotton Sportswear Fabric?
Cotton sportswear fabric is a natural cellulose fiber harvested from the cotton plant, prized for its exceptional softness, breathability, and comfort against the skin. It remains the most popular natural fiber in the global sportswear industry.
At Dhalay International, we source premium-grade cotton for casual sportswear, training basics, and lifestyle activewear. Our range includes 100% cotton, cotton-polyester blends (65/35, 60/40, 50/50), and cotton-spandex blends (95/5, 92/8) for added stretch.
Every lot is tested for shrinkage control, colorfastness, pilling resistance, and hand feel before shipping.

Natural Performance Properties
Cotton's strengths lie in comfort and skin-friendliness.
Natural Breathability
Air flows freely through the fiber structure, keeping the wearer cool during low-intensity activity.
Soft Hand Feel
Combed cotton delivers a luxuriously smooth surface that feels gentle against even sensitive skin.
Hypoallergenic
Natural fiber with no chemical treatments — safe for allergy-prone and sensitive skin types.
Moisture Absorbent
Absorbs up to 27× its weight in water — pulls sweat away from skin effectively.
Temperature Regulating
Keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter through natural thermal insulation.
Biodegradable
100% natural — decomposes within months, unlike synthetic fibers that persist for decades.
Excellent Dye Affinity
Reactive dye bonds at molecular level — deep, rich colors with Grade 4+ fastness.
Zero Static
Natural fibers don't generate static electricity — no clinging or uncomfortable shocks.

Three Printing Methods
Cotton cannot be sublimated — but it excels with these three methods.

Screen Printing
The industry standard for cotton. Plastisol or water-based inks pushed through a mesh stencil — bold, opaque colors that last hundreds of washes. Best value for bulk orders.

Direct-to-Garment (DTG)
Digital inkjet printing directly onto the fabric — no screens needed. Photo-quality, full-color designs with unlimited complexity. Ideal for small batches and one-offs.

Embroidery
Thread-based decoration stitched directly into the fabric. Textured, premium look that communicates quality and craftsmanship. Perfect for logos, monograms, and chest branding.
